Well, the DS box has two slots. One is for the DS cart. The other is for a GBA cart. Nintendo hinted at the possibility of a chance there will be games that use the DS cart AND the GBA cart. As for the GBE...I hope to god it's a myth and nothing more.

there ARE games that use the ds and gba slot. like spiderman ds, if you have a spiderman GBA game in the GBA slot, you start out with all of the powers.

seriously i think they should let the game boy go eventually each remake will be just another nail in its coffin.

the ds ......stil collecting dust ive havent seen any games i would pay 40-50$ for i have the one game it came with , the mario remake what a suprise

i think the revolution is goin to be pretty kool manly becuase of SMASH BROS. yay but yea if its more than 150$ (witch it highly probley will be) ill just play with a freind and there system until it goes down.

as for portables for nintendo i think they shoudl wait a couple years then get back into the market cause if they fail with the ds then immediatly come out with a new portable or god forbid a new gb then they would just keep saturating there peace of the market

as for sony and microsoft: the 360 im going to get its a little expensive but it think its gana have good games / ps3 yea its a power house but i didnt like many games on the ps2 and i havent seen any on ps3 so far not to mention they say its gana be 500 at best ill pass

And they need (as it's been said a hundred times before) NEW games. I'm not saying they should stop making Mario and Zelda and whatnot games. Aparently there are people who are into those. But they need to stop reamking the classics. I'd suggest making a new 2D, non-rpg Mario game. Much like the SMB series.

What about New Super Mario Bros. or Super Princess Peach? They're both 2D sidescrollers, very much like the classic.

And no conn, Nintendop isn't solely focusing on the DS as a handheld or the GBM wouldn't be coming out in september. That would be what I was referring to.

I meant they're focusing way too much on the DS, and a bit too much on the GBA, and because of that, the GCN is suffering.

I'd also like to see them use the GBA-option pack for the DS. They've hinted at it. Built the case to acomidate them. But They haven't made any. It's like a myth.

You haven't been looking at the right games, then. What about Meteos, Kirby Canvas Curse, Advance Wars Dual Strike, Pac-Pix, Pac n Roll or even Nintendogs?

Rumoured price is $200-$300. Selling a system that powerful at $150 is SUICIDE. The Dreamcast lost money at $200. Same with the Xbox. Now why do you think Nintendo should sell a system for that cheap?

HAL Labratories owns Super Smash Bros., not Nintendo. Second, if characters such as Bomberman, who've been around FOREVER aren't in, SEGA characters won't.

I can't see myself spending $49.99 or whatever it is, on Nintendogs. I don't generally like those types of games where you need to constantly take care of the characters. This is one reason I never got into the whole Tamagotchi craze.

What Nintendo should do with the Revolution is make all the consoles a player attachment, with the GB player. So you pay 1 dollar/game for said console and you can play from the cartridge. Make the thing around the price of the game and the crowds will go wild.

Those are fine, but I was thining more along the lines of traditional 2D. Not 3 dimensions with 2 directions. But beggers can't be choosers, I suppose

Very true. If the consumer is even going to make an attempt to know what games are good and what games suck, then no company has a definite future anyway.

I have a hard time understanding why people say they want new games, new plots, worlds and characters and in the same breath ask for another remake.

Conn, I'd say we're on the same page. And I'm not sure there's much more to say. The sad part is, despite our genius ideas and creative suggestions, Nintendo will do whatever the hell it wants to, regardless of what we say. I've seen it happen a dozen times. And I've seen most of them flop too.
