I think this is a great idea! I've been bouncing around ideas in my head for building a machine.

There is some info about homebrew pinball machine building on the net but it's scattered about and not very detailed.

I've been following the LHE blog about building a propeller pinball controller. Also I thought Ben was building a board for the chipKIT32. Personally I would be more interested in buying a chipkit32 board because I already know how to program in C/C++.

Yeah I love the Jurassic Park pinball series, and I want to build a Jurassic Park 3 pinball but lack the full knowledge, here's how I think it should be layed out...

Virtual Pinball Cabinets

Building Pinball Games

Restoring and Buying Pinball

And any others people think... If your reading Ben please add a pinball area

Hi there, Thewizdawg, with the programming side of it do you think you could give me a hand, I am just designing and trying to figure out some of the play pieces eg. Side things that hit it around they have a small hammer inside, but I'm trying to find where to get these parts. The Theme of my Pinball is Jurassic Park 3

Yes I'll be happy to help out any way I can.

I'm not a professional programmer but have taken plenty of college programming courses and have an idea how a pinball OS operates.

PM me your questions and I'll try to answer them.

Thanks Wizdawg, I'm fairly new so don't have PM allowance yet. I just wanted to know for now how to wire the slingshots etc. does anyone own a actual Jurassic Park as I wanted to make a copyin a CAD program and edit it for my machine. What theme are you thinking.

Definitely using the CHIPkitMax32 for the main gameplay, but may just throw together a propeller dev board for the 128 x 32 custom made DMD as all it's doing is playing a few animations. I am basing it on these plans http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showt ... an%20plans and will spray paint on the side a Jurassic Park 3 logo like on the main body, but adapt it to be similar to the Other machines
