Ben Heck makes living room game consoles in a portable form factor. I have managed to make a car audio package in a zero-emission human power package.

I had a beach cruiser bicycle which I modified to have a 12 volt electric system with headlights, horn, turn signals, and car audio equipment.

my bike was even on the news last February. I feel like I am the Ben Heck of bicycles since there is a simple analogy to show why I felt I just had to share this.

Comparing a normal automobile with a modified bicycle is like comparing a normal game console with Ben Heck's makeshift shells for making those consoles handheld. I feel I wanna live life like a boomcar enthusiast without spending needless amounts of money on gas and insurance like people who drive normal automobiles. Similarly, Ben Heck figures people should play video games on the go than have something drag them around. Ben and I do share similar philosophies on everyday concepts.

Now I'm going to bump the thread to announce that I now have a helmet lighting project that I completed.

I think its just sheer stupidity that Michigan is trying to repeal the motorcycle helmet law, seeing that now only is it encouraging more dangerous motorbiking, but its also dishonoring my concept of uising helmet as supplementary exterior accent lighting, as well as marker lighting for better visibility. Ben Heck should start working on 12 volt accessories.

Now make a car out of bike parts to compliment it!

I've done so many updates over this time, that I even jury-rigged a USB hub with a push-button for hypnotizing the computer to serve as a horn switch with color-changing back-lighting.

I obtained resistors for 12 volt system use of a mainly 5-volt (USB) device by de-soldering them from a circuit board. I also cut off the Data + and Data - leads since they weren't necessary for visual effects.

In a way, I am similar to Benjamin Heckendorn.
