Battery?

Post by joeafro »

Does anyone have any experience with this battery?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Super-Rechargeabl ... _Batteries" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It seems kind of cheap and i know some sellers from Hong Kong and the like lie about the true capacity.

No. But I would most likely be certain that it has 4-6 Battery Cells inside (Like bigger AA batteries) and a Protection / Charging circuit.

As seen in my Battery here

As for the Capacity, it would be 6800 mAh for sure.

How it works is when the battery starts to die (IE: The mAh goes low), then the Voltage drops to keep it at 6800 mAh. That is why I think it has 10.8 Volts to 12.0 Volts on the Label / Sticker.

The Protection / Charging circuit is FORCING the battery to keep a steady and constant 12 volts, but when the mAh becomes low (IE: It is dying), then it will drop to 10.8 - and eventually cut your game console out if you are using it for that.
