Using a LCD screen for portable

Hello,

I have successfully wired the tv monitor I bought to my xbox but now I want to get rid of the "inverter board". Does anyone know I can tell if the screen will take 12 volts from the 360. There is one plug with like 6 wires on it going from the power board to the smaller one that takes the vga input. If it is possible, where would I get the power on the 360 motherboard?

The inverter board powers the backlight with several hundred volts.

And you can't just run a monitor off of the Xbox. Maybe, if you used a larger power supply then the one you need you could but otherwise, no.
