PS2 - $5
Atari 7800 - $10
Atari 2600 6-switch - $5

And much more that I can't remember. The PS2 is the most recent and most vivid.

I'm jelous. I've never found anything worth buying at a garage sale. However, I have found some stuff just laying in the street (quite literally): a GBC (in a case with games) and a GBA (in a case with games).

Here in Japan I got a Pentium4 mobo with 128mb DDR400 RAM, 2 800mb harddrives, some older drives, a 20gig HDD, a CD-rom drive, various fans, 3 Pentium 1 CPUs, and a heatsink: free. Got it from one of the teachers who doesnt want to buy a CPU. So I get to sell it to some dude and build a computer for about 500USD. I get about $100 extra in my pocket.

I also got a Japanese bamboo flute for free (hand made and usually very expensive). beatmania with case and correct disks about 50cents.
I could have gotten a WORKING Xbox for about $32 but when I went to get it (after going to the local post offices ATM) it was gone.
I have a lot more, I just cant think of them right now.

jeeze i have had a ton of deals a boxed virtual boy and 4 games for 7$ and 2 atari 2600s and 16 games for 10 an InTv and 10 boxed ames for 10$ snes free genisis II and 7 games free psx 1$ the list goes on lol

Just finding one sealed SNES game nowadays is almost impossible!
My best finds are:
Complete NES Toploader-$15
Megaman X2 Complete in box-$10 (Worth over $60 on ebay)
2 SNES Mini's 2 NES's 7 SNES games and other miscellaneous parts for $28 (On Ebay believe it or not!)
Final Fantasy III-$5
Lufia II-$2

Can't think of any more at the moment.

Got a PONG System, traded it for a just about complete Handspring Visor Deluxe (Clear).

i got 2 dreamcasts outa a dumpster where i used to work each were in a hard platic case with 1 controller,RFU ,Powercord each

one had a broken lens but it boots into its funky menu just fine

Oh and I think space shuttles (the remaining 2) run off 386 CPU's... Something about the CPU's have to be tested for resistance to gamma rays, so newer stuff is not certified.

The Voyager spacecraft (see Star Trek: The Motion Picture) run off old 8-bit RCA CPU's same as the RCA Studio 2, so go figure.

Um...there are more than 2 Shuttles left, right?

Discovery, Endeavor, Atlantis, and there might be others...

because the other processors that are exposed to gamma rays turn them in to....
