how to dissable pal n64 lockout chip

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

how to dissable pal n64 lockout chip

I'm wondering how to disable the lockout chip on the pal Nintendo 64 (I live in Northern Ireland). the cartridge port would be easy to mod (see photo below). Please help me.

i think its inside the cart not the n64, and anyhow im quite sure it is not possible due to some checksum thingo

I gots me 3 pal n64's so I have a few tries before I totally f**k it up

Well, I know the way for japan to us is to completely remove the shutters and plastic for cartridge, but i think pal is different. worth a try though.

From what i can see, though, it looks like you'll have to do at least that anyway(tabs in bottom left and right missing on pal version) try it after that. easy fix if you can open security screws.
