JVC camcorder LCD with backlight
I was wondering how I should go about finding the video out on my GR-DVL120 camcorder that I took the 2.5inch LCD and backlight out of. Anyone have suggestions? I have tryed to find a datasheet with no luck. Its markings are LCD-BL PWB Ass'y: YB20929-01-01.. anyone have any ideas? Thx in advance!

Ok, thinking about it seems like the encoder might be on the main board but im still wondering how I could try to get this working. Shouldnt there be some kind of standards on these.. cheers

No, every manufacturer is different (though they follow the same basic concepts)
You can't just "Plug a wire in" and expect it to work. No, you can't get it to work.

What type of camcorder should I use for low budget music videos? I'm a music artist and I'd like to record my performances and upload them on YouTube and make low budget music videos as well. What would be a decent camcorder with good sound and picture quality between $75 - $150 ?

If you want to find datasheets and schematics, try here:

They might have what you're after.

Or you could use an oscilloscope to find the power in and the 0v, and then use an oscilloscope to find any other regular wave outs (maybe a clock or something feeding into the camera from the screen or the other way? I don't know about that), then find it by process of elimination.
Just throwing stuff out there, sorry if it's wrong..
