Don't forget, dear ShockSlayer trainee, you need to use at least a dozen hot glue sticks for your project too, to be authentic; of which about two sticks worth must be entirely visible from the outside (holding controllers in place). You also need to stick batteries onto the reverse side using different coloured electrical tape, use a power drill to carve up holes and leave parts of the motherboard underneath clearly showing through the cracks in the layers. Otherwise it isn't authentic!

Haha thanks for the tips! the hot glue will definitely be used as i'm starting to cut out the spots for the controls and screen and am about to attempt to chop my controller by soldering directly to the big chip in the middle whatever its called to relocate the buttons, pics later because of some trouble with photo shack, anybody else have problems with macs and running certain webpages?

If I were to stop working on this now since i'm barely into it would I be able to use this for the compo cause I've told life of brian that I wanted to enter but if not I'll just do another one after this.

I think your question confused me. I want to enter this in the compo but I don't want to be working on it yet if it hasn't started yet cause that would be cheating. So I was saying that if I stopped working and waited until it started then I would work on it again then enter it when I finish. Unless the compo started then I need to get movin!
