Xbox 360 portable

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

fix'd :P

you are a noob. you. are. going. to. fail.

an xbox 360 laptop is about the hardest thing one can, attempt, and portable will be even harder, probably impossible. there is a reason the 360 is the size it is.

Don't mind him. He's just sighing about another person like you who thinks it's just super-easy to make one of these things. Don't worry about money, or skills, or knowledge, or resources, you don't need any of those; anyone can make these, that's why we have a million of them, right?

No. Sorry, but if you can't figure out stuff like where to buy a screen, this task will be a bit too impossible for you. This stuff takes time to learn, you know?

And nobody is going to make a tutorial, either. Don't ask. The closest thing you'll find is Ben's documentation on the few he has made.

It's not real portable it's just a controller with a screen that has AV jack to plug a xbox in to when i don't have a TV

That's a little easier. Try a portable DVD player, it has composite in and usually batteries.

1. Too big. 2. Huge.

You want a PS1 screen.

While the laptop may be too daunting for some, surely it's not the most complicated thing we've seen on this site. I think the hardest part about making it a "laptop" is the case fabrication and cooling.

I'm not attempting to sound obtuse or anything; I just really think people overexaggerate the complexity of the project (or maybe I'm underexaggerating without realizing...)

Then again, he also refuses to do another N64p, AND he has CNC capabilities. Ben isn't really the best, he just has the highest budget.

Why? It's true. How many people do you know that has to decide which system he wants to portablize? I can think of 2. ShockSlayer (and he has no summer projects, AFAIK), and benheck.
