Top three in no particular order:

Atari 2600. It was my first console, and still the one I have the modt games for. ($10 at a yard sale for a trash bag full of games FTW.)

Sega Genesis. I like its Yamaha audio better than the SNES's Sony audio; it just has more character. Also, the only good Sonic games are on it. :P (Gotta love being lucky enough to get the one Sonic 3 cartridge with Super Sonic unlocked, by random chance, out of the bargain bin at GameStop.)

PlayStation. The big, old, original one. I put in so many hours on Crash team Racing and Gran Turismo it's not even funny.

All of them are awesome games. "Tomb Raider" is probably the one I've sunk the most time into, though.
lol i got the grey with blue buttons ROFL!!!!
but yeah, the japan saturns are by far better looking

anyways I got the most games for atari 2600 and sega genesis not the saturn
I think i got 80 somethin games for atari?
and 76 genesis games (includin 32x,cd and some more with the modem)

by far my favorite "retro system" is the amiga computers! specifically the a500 a1000 and a1200! the 500 and 1000 were my first game system and computer and i still have them both. they were the best computer you could get at the time and the amount of upgradability the a1200 had was uncompairable at the time and is still impressive. an example

stock 1200: 14mhz 68020 processor and 2mb ram
PPC1200: blizzard PPC card and Bvision graphics specs: 240mhz PPC 603e processor 50mhz 68060 processor up to 256mb of ram :D

I would have to say that my favorite was probably the original Atari.

Space invaders was the greatest thing ever.

Then the NES would be next in line, with Mario Brothers 3 taking up wayyyy too much of my time.

Atari 2600 for me. Lots of good games and pretty decent arcade ports. Atari 7800 has better tech but fails on its face in the game category.
Because of course, ports of Sega Naomi arcade machine games arn't arcade games :?

n64 ofcourse.

Think of all of those awesome games. Smash, Banjo, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario 64, Donkey Kong, and others.

Plus who could forget that godly Conker's Bad Fur Day?

I don't consider it retro, but the GBA SP is my favorite. Great GBA library and it plays all of my GB/GBC games as well. I carry two GBA SP's, two copies of Tetris (amongst many other games), and a link cable in my travel kit, in case I meet anyone who wants to play a match.

the first real system i got as a kid wad the 2600, i guess thats my favorite. I still play once in a while, reminds me of spending time with my dad, playing combat for what seemed like hours at a crack. Reminds me of simpler times i guess, no house mortgage, bills, adault responsibility. LOL

I love my Saturn (the black one {unless you also count the gray one in my copy of Shenmue}) but Dreamcast has so many great games that it's my favorite.
