Microsoft is making much of its security enhancements, which Ms Barzdukas said makes IE 8 "hands down the most secure browser on the market."

The deswadj (supplying up to 1.2A) on the same site works for a 3.3V line on a N64 with a jumper pack. I used two of these within my portable because I used an expansion pack and also because I wanted to stay within operating limits. It is rated at 1A but can do 1.2A fairly constantly.
Despite this I would recommend using a TI regulator or making your own using something like an LM317T. Its cheaper and supply as much power as you need it you use the right regulators. I've found how easy it is to make your own. Give it a try, use some veroboard and ramp up your cred in the process.
