psone screen sound issue [UNFIXABLE-CLOSED]

ok so i connected all my composite cables to the screen to keep it simple. i used the cables pinout given here: http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?t=2278

all are connected. soldered. hotglued after for security. and seperated. i get video to work flawlessly. but sound will not work.

what could i have done wrong? ive checked and redone it several times, always video but no sound. any suggestions? thanks.

wire "headphone switch" (pin 6 i think on the right connector) to ground.
i had the same problem

Other issue is that the PSone has two right audio and two left audio connectors - one set is for RGB mode and one for composite mode. Connect the two right audio wires together and the two left audio wires together. I bet you just used pins 9 and 10 and not 2 and 3!!

actually u bet wrong XD.

they are all connected together. my white with 3 and 10

and my red with 2 and 9

i also tried the HP switch thing mentioned....but nothing....any other tips?

i mean should i maybe be ONLY using pins 2 and 3 instead of bother for each audio? since im only doing composite input??? could that be it?

attatch the R out from console to pin 2 of connector 2 and L out from console into pin 3 of connector two. make sure the grounds of your system and screen are joined and make sure pin 6 connector 2 is grounded to the screen also..
you said "white and red" make sure your attatching the signal (+) and not the ground from that jack.

ok i did ALL that. but no sound.......*sigh* i know the audio works cause i tested it befor soldering, and then retried after.....so whats going on???

what do u mean?

ok here is more detail i connected White (L) to pin 3 on connector 2
i connected Red (R) to pin 2 on connector 2.

the grounds coming off of those connectors have been connected and grounded

didnt work.

then grounded the HP switch thing. and still. no sound.

perhaps from the white connector (left audio) you attatched the ground instead of the audio line. same with red (right audio.) try flipping the wires.

kinda hard to do that when the + line has a seperate insulation seperating the 2....so no i didnt mess them up that way....

any other ideas from anyone else since my best help has to leave?

yup. tried it at every level of volume...nothing.
