project idea

Hi guys,

I have an idea for a project I'm interested in, and thought I will see what you guys think.

Awhile back I went with my family on a short vacation to "Great Wolf Lodge" in the poconos. It was a lot of fun. One of the attractions there was called "MagiQuest". If you're not familar with it, you can find some information here: http://www.magiquest.com

What I want to do is this, I though it would be a lot of fun to try to make a similar item to the stuff found at magiquest.

one example would be a "Fake Fire" similar to what could be found here:

http://www.puppetrevelation.com/index.a ... rodID=1139 and have it be controled by a wand, remote or some other such device.

know I have no idea how to go about this yet, from reading magiquest stuff it seems that they use "rfid", but I'm guessing there may be other ways to do this. Of course I'd like to do it the simplest, quickest, cheapest way. Please let me konw your thoughts. Thanks.

Could always just simulate it through your computer with a 3D model and control it with the wiimote.
