Metroid Retrospective
Remember when Twilight Princess came out, and ScrewAttack made that Zelda Retrospective? Well, with the release of Prime 3, they've done it again, this time with Metroid. Watch it here. It's pretty interesting, and a good compilation/memory refresher if you're just picking up the new game. I'm on number 4 right now, hope you guys like it.

Hey! That's my old avatar I stole from some guy! I must say, it's the best metroid fanart on the internet.
Too bad the guy can't pronounce the names right. Makes me doubt his credibility. Samus "erin"? Zeebs? It's ARAN AND ZEBES. SAY IT LIKE THAT! Some poeple! ZEE-BEES. A-RAN.
Anyways, a metroid movie? Neato!

idk, I might watch it later... I really dont like metroid though. I tried it. I like the old ones better than prime, I really like hunters though because of multiplayer.

I do care. And as much as I'm not sure of it, I'm firm in my beliefs. I left Ridley out because I'm still deciding which is right, officially. Ride-lee, or Rid-lee. I'm thinking Ridley because of how it's spelt, but Ridely flows better.
As for Aran and Zebes, it fits the way the other words are pronounced. Chozo is pronounced Choh-zoh, Not Chaw-zoh, So why wouldn't Zebes follow this pattern? You have to remember Japanese people made these names, and the pronunciation is different from the American way. Zeebees and Air-an. The doubling of one syllable makes it nicer on the ears.
But I have no way of knowing. Perhaps someone could call Nintendo?

I'm not alone in my quest for proper pronunciation!!!

IT IS ARAN. Like gannon pointed out. As for the pronounciation of Samus, I say Sam-us. Although it's not SSB official pronounciation, it's damn close enough for me. Basically, gannon added the japanese stresses on the North American pronounciations of it. An "us" isn't pronounced "oos" over here, it's, well, "us".
Whatever. Just leave me to struggle with my self-denial.
