ADJ I could assume would be adjust. Meaning you might be able to control the voltage. Don't know for sure been a while since I've used a 78** regulator or something like it. If you are unsure, and you don't get an answer contract gannon he'd likely know.

Ho! I forgot in my presentation on the first post, that I also rip dc games using a dvd-drive (LTD-165H) and swapping, it works well, for the majority of gamesI also got a coder calbe, but dvd-drive is way faster ...
between BBA and Serial but tends to the BBA
(in fact I can rip in like 16x but I'd be corrupted ...) Here's my setup : http://www.segakatana.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=146
Note: if it's not really liked to post links to others site here, simply tell me and i'll remove this one.)
So c and z are like L and R but not analog ? ... ok ...
Thank you again !

Runs awsome, but since its on my 500mhz Machine, it runs like it has shoes filled with concrete (Only on DVD Movies though)
If anyone can tell me how to build a Replacment PSU (No I will not use a Mini-itx PSU, Cost way to much for my blood, and all I want to do is Get the Dreamcast Running.
I mean I have a Normal PC PSU, can I rig that up?
Just Tell me What Regulator Types I need.
I would Greatly Appreciate it.

I'll try like I feel it, I have 3 regulators and they are all 8v and I can't fry my psone screen since I read that some ppl tried it on 12 v here ...
EDIT: connecting the screen's and dreamcast's ground togheter, the right pin to 12v in and center pin to the 7.5v in of the screen didn't worked ...
Can someone help me with regulators ?
@Jongamer
Hey, contact me if you wanna know how to rip Dreamcast Gd-Roms throught your drive, the LTD-165H(CH0H) is the only one anybody as ever been able to rip a game completely with it (not all games works, but many does)
To power up a dreamcast, you only need to input the right voltage to the right pins, 3 volts the the left pin, 5v to the pin next to it, the 3 others are ground (can be bridged) and the last one at the right is 12v. find you psu pinout and put some metal pin in the right holes, link the PWR_ON hole with the ground(may not be needed for old psu) then power it up !
-=FamilyGuy=-
[EDIT] I Just make it works, I found the pinout somewhere
It now all works from the 12v, but the regulator is getting PRETTY HOT, I think I'll put the controller's port fan and fix it to the regulator to keep it cool
If someone know a better way to cool it, tell me !
Here what it looks like now ! (The mad cat controller is ordered
)

And like in the other thread, I rigged the Computer PSU to the Correct pins, and works like a charm (Accualy runs ALO cooler than with the normal Dreamcast PSU)

Thank you Dudex77, I'll order one
@Jon gamer, contact me if you got the right model number (look the name of your drive in nero or clone cd, it should be written)
Now on-topic:
I got problems with my Regulator, it got pretty hot.
So I made a "DoubleFannedSupraExtraMediumEfficientCoolingSystem"
Wich is simply the regulator trapped between 2 fans (and 1 kind-of-radiator)

It works pretty well, no more reset due to heat !
Now my desktop looks like this :

Well, it'll looks like almost every portable, (gameboy advance style with the screen between the controller, and a bit like the gamecube portable Turbo Tax 1.0 made (thickier where the mother board is and more slim where the controllers pcbs are !
I don't feel like drawing it right now.
The case is gonna be vacuum formed if I do it before June, and if I do it after, I'll be done with the Ben Heck's style.
[EDIT]
I just passed th day trying to make it more slim like the first guy who made one did !
... I found a (hardcore) way to do it, i'm half done ...
Look ...

Holy snap! A Dreamcast portable being done without me noticing??? One sugestion: A quantam fighter pad is better than an astro pad. I'll get a link.
EDIT: http://devcast.dcemulation.com/mods/tilt/tilt.php Here's a good tutorial on making a Dreamcast tilt controller featuring a quantam fighter pad. Everything in the controller is seperated by wire as you can see in the photos.

Too late, I already ordered an astropad ...
I'll make a vmu port and you'll be able to see its screen (the right way too, not inversed) OR an internal one with screen also ... but I'd prefer to make it with a "slot".
Thank you !
I'll solder the other ends of my 50 wires this week end when I'll have about 3 hours loose...
Thank you !
