Tons of Radica Questions

Post by EmuandCo »

Hi, this is my first post in here, but I already know this board for almost 6 months. I have some questions regarding the Radica modding.

I read somewhere that RGB Output is not possible, but S-Video is. Is this true? How to do this?

I read that theres a mod to get Stereo Output. This mod I saw in here reminds me of the fake Stereo Mod for a NES where half of the sound channels are put to the right Audio channel. Is this the way to do it or is this REAL Stereo? How to get better Audio quality? (Sonic 2 has some quite silent audio parts which should be louder etc)

I heard theres a way to replace the 3 Button with a 6 Button Controller on this baby. How?

Is there a way to set PAL / NTSC and Region with a switch?

Is the Menu Button on the Controller a reset Button?

Where can I get a 64 Pin Connector?

Theres a mod for Genesis3 to get Virtua Racing up and running by adding the 7 and 13 MHz onto the cart connector again. Does this work here too?

Someone in here tried the Tototek Flashcart on this Radica and found out that it seems not to run bacause its too big (64 Meg). Would it run when the Mod for geting Sonic and Knuckles etc running is included?

Accessing the 7.6 and 13 MHz clock signals on the Radica would be impossible since it essentially features a Genesis-on-a-chip. The clock signal (aside from the 53.693 MHz system clock) would not be interceptable.

The GOAC in the Genesis 3 was used in some newer Genesis 2's, therefore that chip outputs those frequencies to keep the 32x and VR compatible.

How about adding two Osciallators? Stupid, I know, but... why not?
