What I'm looking to do is take whatever is available and have component outputted. I'd love to use RGB but being this is America I'd have a hard time finding a large TV that will accept it. I have found stand alone component encoders but they're upwards of $70. I've seen a few websites offer the mod job for $30 with some really professional results so it must be able to be done cheaper.
I'd like to do this on a SNES to start out with. Any help is greatly appreciated.
