PSOnes aren't PSXs

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Yes, the PSX. A faield attempt by Sony to make a PS2 that was practically an all in one media device. It could burn DVD's, and CDs. Quite rare actually. It retailed for $800 which was, at the time $500 more that a PS2.

Same here. You have all my pity.

That new PSX system has been out for at least a year and a half in Japan. It has a built in "TiVo" device, and like a 500gb hard drive depenting on which model you waste your money on. It's a "pimped" version of the PS2.

The thing is the Playstation has been called the PSX for so long I doubt anyone will be changing what they say. Plus you must keep in mind that since the PSX was released in limited quantities in japan only, about half of the playstation gamers dont even know it exists.

My parents are mad awsome... My mom is a now un-addicted Pac-Man addict (she went to the VG rehab down the street), and my dad likes to play any video game we tell him to play (Soooooul Calibuuuurr! :D ). They also spend the time to listen to my portable talk, and therefore no the names of my consoles... WE-EIRD! And my PocketFami is actually a hand-me-down, it was originally my dad's, but he give it to me :D ...

[beach bum]Dudes, your guys parents are like, totally whack, man. They like, don't know what a NES is? Hawhawhawhawhawhawhaw... Totally![/beach bum]

[song]It's Bart's cafe, in Outer Space, with R2-D2 playin' the bass![/song]

[Peter Griffin] *Points and laughs* Ha, you yellow guys suck! hahahahahahahaha[/Peter Griffin]

My parents are actually really good about calling all my consoles their proper name. Including the Blackbox prototype. :)

The only time that I can remember that something was called the wrong name, was when my mom called my DS Lite "PSP". I'm pretty sure that she called it PSP though was because I owned a PSP prior to owning the DS.

I've mistakenly called my gameboy a gamegear several times.
