si, o "it has to be a small cat"
So, if I said what I did to a native Spanish speaker, would he/she have a clue what I am talking about? I'm losing my touch a bit, since I haven't been in a Spanish class since June.

yeah, "tiene que ser" is good for what you meant. Probably the best choice would have been "debe ser..." which is "must be".
Debe ser un gato pequeño = Must be a small cat
I've seen "tiene que" mostly used for saying that someone has to do something...
Tengo que comer = I have to eat
Tienes que salir? = You have to leave?
It's like necesitar
Necesito comer = I need to eat
Necesitas salir? = You need to leave?
What you said still makes plenty of sense. I'm not criticizing. Just saying what I think I know.

wow, I can't speak Spanish at all anymore. I can understand it perfectly well if I see or hear it, but if I try to say or write something I write Japanese in there in the middle... kinda weird... the two languages aren't even compatible since Japanese doesn't have person-marking in the verbs and stuff (I go and you go are the same unless you say the pronoun explicitly)

We should just bust out in Japanese sometime. That would be great. Japanese is one of the harder classes to find in an American school, thus not many students know it as much as Spanish class or Latin... or Elven.SgtBowhack wrote:wow, I can't speak Spanish at all anymore. EDIT: That was my first spam. I apologize for going off topic. But DudeGladStone, I think he said he used some custom sticker application. I would guess that he took something like sticker paper and cut it out or something of the sort, painted then peeled off the sticker stuff. But that is just what I would do.
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.
1. painted the entire part red (where the logo is)can we have a closeup or description of how you saved the logo?
2. i had a nes logo vinil sticker custom made and carefully placed it in its place
3. painted the part silver
4. waited for it to dry
5. peeled letter by letter off and revealed the new formed logo (with a little help of a knife)
can't believe i've finished contra 3...
now i need a new purpose on life...

The correct term is 'small person,' or 'vertically challenged.'JackFrost22 wrote:The name that I give my pet midget is little Gordo
If you can't be politically correct, I'll have to ban you and report you to the Midget Abuse Authorities.
