Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Fun? Is it fun? I have a benchsaw/hacksaw to cut it with. Is it hard?

EDIT: I'm headed off to go on errands to get stuff, on my list there is:
Krylon Fusion black paint
SCSI/IDE Cables
wire stippers
Electric tape
An n64
n64 games
N64 controllers
Hot Glue
A hot glue gun
solder
my own soldering iron
de-soldering iron
6 3mm while leds

Anything else for case construction, screen modding?

I think the case is excellent, but the thumbstick would get in the way unless you made the system taller so your thumbs reach upward instead of inward.

NEW N64!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Well, i got a new n64 at a pawn shop for $25 (They were selling ps2 slims for $50! PSOnes for 18!) and 3 of my 4 games work. StarFox doesnt. :( I don't want to rip it apart until I get my screen from wallydawg (send it already! :) )

Mega update!

Lesee, I fried the n64 in my last post, and got another one!! Thanks Xorealix! I have 2 batteries, GC One and one from jeffslot(AKA pwnerer).
My screen from wallydawg needs a new input board or a pinout: http://benheck.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=13802
In 2.0 I'll have a joystick mod, but for now I'll use a stock controller.
Finished All of controller, just need to make a few adjustments for final 1.0.
My case designs are weird. But all is well. What you will see in my pics, Is the top piece for my final on 1.0, but the bottom piece is only temporary. Post comments please. Yes I know its uglyish. But its only 1.0.

Ahh, my built in controller. The tact switch is the start button.

OMG EWW! My controllers backside! On the PS2 half, it will be 1=R 2=L. Right now its 1=R 2=Z. The gamecube side is L. It will be Z. The gamecube piece's switch is a n64 reset tact switch. It fits perfect!
Image

All of my portable stuff. From back to front: Theres the n64, the screen(which in this pic has that backlight thing, it is removed) My first battery, then my controller, then my new battery, then a controller, then an exp slot piece.
Image

IT WORKS! Oot is fun. W00T 00T! The n64 joystick I have on there rocks! Its new(from nintendo), lubed, and internally metalized! Never going to wear away!

I think you might've had a bit too much fun with the hot glue. Heh. But yeah, it seems to be going good. I mean, it's functional.

I'm not mocking you, if it sounds like i am. I really think that's a cool idea of using the PS2 controller for L and R on the same side.

good job on the split controller, dont go to crazy securing the buttons though because if they stop working or whatever it can be a female of the dog species to fix

and whats this about a joystick that will never wear out? is nintendo making them like that now or was it a mod?

there's a mod to replace something plastic with metal to make it better and last longer.

It was a mod. First, I got a replacememnt joystick off of lik-sang. Then I took it apart. Then my dad and I made molds of the pieces. Then he made aluminium peices. It was then coated in this stuff. I don't remember what it was called, but it feels like plastic. It looks like an original one, exept the insides.

EDIT: Daguuy, the X64 will end up the gameboy 64's brother. And I didn't know about that mod. Can I see a link?
