Theres a couple of consoles I want to mod for svideo and composite, most of the mods call for 2N4401-ND transistors and I'm fresh out. I've got a 15 pack of 2n3906, would they be suitable?

And I happened to find my own answer, probably not. The ones I have are PNP rather than NPN. The max wattage is 400ma different too. Radio Shack it is then.
