One of the better games I have played on the PS2 is God Of War. I would highly recomend that above all others.

I REALLY want to get that after hearing how good it is. Every game magazine is raving about it.

Battlefront's good despite it's crappiness in some places. I suck at multi-player though

Thanks for all the suggestions so far guys. Looks like 100% of my work check that comes Thursday is going towards games.

TPS games are fine also, I played the MGS2 demo that came with Dynasty Warriors 3 a long while back.
