Zimbabwe Scammers
Just got this weird Zimbabwe Spam/Scam email. It said that 19 million dollers is left for them, and I am supposed to help them. I remember reading about this somewhere. Where do I report this type of thing?

Re: Zimbabwe Scammers
I see those all the time when I look in my spam folder. I don' think it is worth reporting as they probably send them out to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people at a time and I'm sure many others have reported it.vb_master wrote:Just got this weird Zimbabwe Spam/Scam email. No way to really report it, but you can have some fun with it. Inky from AtariAge should be able to help you out a bit

There are some stories floating around where people reply and lead these guys on for months... I remember this one story (somewhere on zug.com I) think) and the lady was trying to get the scammer to pay for her plane ticket so she could meet him, making him pay for long distance calls... It went on forever. The lady did mysteriously disappear one day...

Yeah, I've heard stories from the UK about a guy who fell for one and got all his money (many thousands) taken out. Went over to Nigeria where the email came from to try and get it back and....... well nobody's heard from him and he still hasn't come back!joelanders wrote:There are some stories floating around where people reply and lead these guys on for months...
