Finding a lost file on PSP

Post by GamingRev »

So I was on my friends PSP, and "donwloaded" a video. I clicked on the download link, and a progress bar came up with the title of "saving progress" (or something similar).

Now, I cant find it anywhere. I remember the destination being something like " PSP/(unsure)" Only one slash. I lookeed in videos and like every other folder. I cant find the video!

Can somebody please help me?

Did you download it online or from a computer? Remember that it has to be encoded correctly (MP4 AAC). It sound like you downloaded it off the internet to me, and, if that is the case, it probably isn't encoded correctly unless you know otherwise (specifically made to play on PSP). Anyway, the folders under the directory /PSP are COMMON, GAME, MUSIC, PHOTO, SAVEDATA, and SYSTEM. If you did download a video in the correct format to one of these directories, you can access it using file:/ (ex. to watch video.MP4 in the COMMON directory, use file:/PSP/COMMON/video.MP4 as the address in the web browser).

try looking in the MP_ROOT folder, it might be in there if you downloaded it on the PSP (as in the PSP's web browser)
