Whoops!
Thats not quite right! You see...
If you connect it like this:
1 2 3
Input GND OUT
then it outputs the original voltage.
But if you reverse the two, like this:

then I got 3.4V. So before you wire it up I advise you to check it! (the writing on the converter is the same.)

yeah, they might catch on
.....of course, I'm not helping, by ordering three, but I really do need them, for three different portables. (and no, you can't know what they are!! 'cept they all use N64s, and two are technically already done
...)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Well... You can't use the 5V converter for replacing the 7805's on a PSone screen to get better efficiency. Whenever there is a bass or something loud on the speakers, the screen gets all distorted. It outputs a steady +5v output even when the speakers are going loud, so a voltage drop is not the problem.
I even used the optional 1 uf ceramic capacitor (I had to use ten .1 uf caps in parallel), it made no difference at all.
Here's my thread about it. If you have any ideas on how to get this working, DO TELL!
