Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

That link does not work
Sorry about that. here's the link, it should work now. and here's the quote from Gamelver.
Yeah I think the PSone screen only needs about 200 milliamps for the screen and then 600 milliamps for the backlighting. I found this out when I used 4 LEDs for the backlight and each LED needed 3.6v @ 100milliamps. Since I used four in parellel it came out to 400 milliamps needed and when I checked the amperage of the whole thing it said 600 milliamps.
600-400=200! I just checked it came to 200 milliamps so the PSone screen actually doesn't use that much power. I wonder if only 2 LEDs would be eonough for the backlight................If so the PSone screen would only use 4oo milliamps! I'll have to try that out.........

Yah I know, but almost a whole page had gone by and I thought if I just edited the old post they would have missed it. But Ill go back and add an edit note now to my original post to keep things simple.
