Hi. I have a Canon printer (model in the subject) with a refilled BC-03 black cartridge.

When ever I print using the Windows Printing thing, it says 'Cartridge Mismatch'. However, if I print using Microsoft Word it prints.

Has the internal chip on the cartridge been clocked over to zero?

Can you edit the .DLL's or somthing??

How do you rest the chip???


Its an old printer, and I have bottles of ink to use on it. So NO I will not buy a new cartridge...


Any ideas????

Yea, at least it prints...

I will try another cartridge from another printer I know...

Is the BC-02 compatible? I shouild have a box of a dozen somewhere in storage.

Yea the BC-02 is compatible. If all fails, then yes I will buy those from you to keep the printer going...

I might be able to sneak it into the next bulk shipment in a few months, you would need to go to a warehouse in the badlands to pick it up though.
