I hacked my CRT TV to accept a RGB signal.

Australian TV's do not have or use SCART, so this is really exciting stuff for my TV.

Now I can use my Amiga in glorious RGB!

Congrats! These mods are not easy to do. I modded my 36" CRT for RGB and it has been a superb monitor for many years now :)

It's funny CRT TV can do RGB, it is what the CRT uses to make 3 primaries show up on the screen. It's a matter of finding the right pins (most CRT tubes are documented) and figuring the right place to inject RGB signal from outside. All the while avoiding getting zapped by the thick anode wire. Yes it can hurt, even if the TV's been powered off because the CRT acts like a capacitor storing several thousand voltage (30k on a typical 13", up to 80k on projection CRTs).

Can't warn enough, that residual charge can hurt a lot.
