Hi. Just a simple question
Can you use the screen from a portable DVD player, Laptop and so on as an actual monitor with RGB/RCA inputs?
I mean, can you just find the pins and solder to them (And of course, plugging the backlight/inverter into something such as a DC adaptor to get the light working for now) to then get a picture from a PS1, PS2, N64, SEGA and Xbox (etc...)?
Or, if there is a way, let me know ASAP because I have a 5" Portable DVD player with only an output. NO INPUT. Is there anyway at all to make this take input by adding wires to the chip? As I read here

Thanks
