This is my first portable system.
As *most* of you know, it will be a portable NES.
I have the following:
Green LED
9v battery connector
Case
I need:
The screen, I have one in mind
A way to hook up the battery to the AV out port, seriously, clueless here Figured it out!
A Case.
A 4 AA Battery holder (total of 6V)
Green LED (its red right now, so common...)
A new clone
Screen

Goin to RadioShack over the weekend, where I can get about half or more of the items I need.

To do:
[] Get Green LED in
[] Solder Battery Pack in
[] Solder screens battery pack in
[✓] Get case
[] Paint Case
[] ???
[] PROFIT!

No worries, take your time with the soldering. What brand of screen did you have in mind? Also the design looks good.

Not that expensive, and has a speaker. Size, it's livable. About the size of a GBC screen?
Thanks for the design, around 4-ish Eastern Standerd Time.
See ya then :P

Im just glad I didn't burn my house down, that would ruin my project! Oh, and ruin my house too, but thats unimportant, I could find a few boxes and make a condo!

You are going all out with the led. It would suck burning down your house and end up living in a Hooverville. Then how will you continue to solder? Nevermind.....extension chord from the neighbors would do just fine to power the iron...

Does it accept OEM games or does it need an adapter

The FACTOR-5 crapped out on me, so I need to know a good quality NES clone for a decent price.

The Factor-5's ribbons were only superglued...
So BOTH of them ripped.
