 Post subject: Is my PSP charger cooked? Is it possible to fix it?

My PSP phat charger has logged hours and hours and hours of charging. Just a few minutes ago, it refused to charge my PSP 1000. So I multimetered the output and I got 2V. Then I used my slim charger and it charges my 1000. However, is it possible to fix my 1000's charger? Maybe there is a cooked capacitor or something in there?
