I made this as a commission work. It took around three weeks to finish. This was the first time I portablised a PS2. I liked the feel while testing it.

Specs are:

* CNC-cut&engraved wooden case painted with yacht varnish(also available as kit if anyone wants),
* Sony PSOne screen with led mod,
* Official logos drawn on the front,
* 7.4v 5000mAh Sanyo li-ion battery pack with PCB,
* Official controller's guts used inside,
* Memory card and Player 2 ports enabled,
* Whole system can run on both the battery pack and the AC PS2 power adapter,
* Re-designed heatsink that seemed very efficient,
* Headphone jack,
* All unnecessary ports desoldered by heatgun..

That looks beautiful man, awesome work as always!

I'm not a big fan of the PSOne screen, have you ever considered using this screen:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/600281/ ... l-lcd.html

It only supports composite and VGA input, but both display beautifully and the screen as a whole is MUCH higher quality than the PSOne screen. It does have quite the Pricetag with shipping though, which is its only downfall.

Again, great work!

Ashen, thanks for your comments. I've actually not tried any screen other than e-bay 3.5" car lcds, PSOne screens, and pocket tv screens. Also, my camera doesn't do any justice to the actual scene. Image is really good throughout gameplay. Of course, screens made to accept VGA input have much more image depth. I'd try one of them in the future:)..

Fight MS Paint abominations! If you don't have a camera, go here, and pick something 3 megapixels or higher.

Goodness gracious great balls of fire.

Is there a cover for the disc? Don't want anything catastrophic to happen.

Theres no need for a disc cover. The disc is recessed.

This reads fine. Maybe your discs do not get the right angle while spinning due to gravity. Check for that; it may help..
