Is it just me or does this thing look awesome for becoming a great case. I would love to have the dimensions of this.

That would work great! The only drawback is that it's not very thick.

Considering I am currently working on a portable Onlive system I think it would be perfect, lol there is not much to put inside it. Oh well, I am not waiting a year for this to come out....back to cruising polycase....

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw that. Probably a better use of it than playing lame 3rd party games, at least.

Yuhh. it would be a good case. but it would limit customization, it would be extreamly pricey and it would not be thick enough. i guess if you want to find a way to make it an inch or two thicker then yes it would work fine!
just does not sound worth the trouble :|

I wanna see this happen! I might have to give it a go when I can find a decent used one in the upcoming months.

As far as size goes, no prob! The thing as a perfectly level part line and such a simple form factor, which means you could make a spacer with almost zero thought or effort. Hell, I'm pretty sure I could crank out a spacer on the bandsaw in like 5 minutes.

• Take apart Wuu controller
• Trace perimeter onto material of choice
• Cut
• Make Wuu controller sammich with the aid of some extended screws

Now it's just a question of whether to put a SNES in there or a SNES :P

Lol, this was my thread, but I have been stationed in Korea so the On live handheld has been temporarily shelved.

Sorry, it just seemed like it needed to be done by someone at this point, seeing as the Wuu's been out for a couple of months now. Gotta start searching eBay for broken controllers...

That link is actually him using a protective case for the WiiU controller. He has a link to the ebay page in the thread.

So I just had this epiphany, do you think it would be possible to cram a raspberry pi into a Nintendo Wii gamepad? I mean, the screen, controls and battery are all already there. Then you could put emulators on the pi and POOF!

Any thoughts on this?

(maybe this should have had its own thread...)

You'd have to find the same size screen, because hacking the U-Screen would be quite difficult.
