My mom ordered your book from Amazon.com as a birthday gift. After some delay now, they cancelled the order saying:

Is this book out of print? Is a new edition coming? I looked on borders.com but no results at all there. Where else might one look for a copy? (Home town where mom lives does not have a book store)

Amazon has that book from different sellers. Just look where it says x new and used available, starting at $xx.xx

Yes, and if you do look, alternate pricing starts at $124. Sorry, I ain't gonna ask for a $124 book as a gift, very good or not. Amazon's previous own pricing was realistic. Current pricing there is outright unacceptable.

I was on there a day or two, and there were a ton for only a few dollars; they must have all sold out since then because amazon ran out of stock.

I think there is an e-book version. I don't have the wherewithal to prove such a thing with a link to it, though.
