Just wanted to say that I recieved my PowerJoy, and this makes the revival of my hip gear screen (it should still be intact) much more probable this weekend.

I wish somebody would dump the PowerJoy carts to a ROM files to use on JNES.. I know they are cheesy but some of the games are neat for their quirkiness and odd use of "Engrish"

well.. the one you got from dankicksass has a plastic casing around it and depending on what you're going to do with it I'd rather have one like that. The Family Converter with the "raw" circuit board just makes me nervous.. like its going to break in half. Not to mention that it can be tricky ...

I dont have any converters other than the one I'm keeping for my own project but you can find them on ebay as well as Lik-Sang and a few other places.

The do come with a multigame cart with about 20 or so games. I dont have a list at the moment..(Im at work) but they are all cheesy little games made by PowerJoy.. not any bootlegs of "real" games that I can tell. However, some of them are sort of fun and gameplay wise they are modelled after games ...
