ok. so after further investigation i somehow ripped off the ground line on one of the contact points. it's cool though. i rewired it. tested. works. nintendo seal of approval and all that.

so i am in the process of rewiring the capacitors, and i'm half way done. i've been checking the system every couple of capacitors to make sure it works. well this time i checked it and i don't have video. i don't know why. i still have sound. no picture. anyone know what i messed up?

are there any differences between the psone and ps2 zenith screens? as far as internals go? it seems that i can get a ps2 one for cheaper. i'm making a snesp, and i can't find anyone who's used a ps2 screen for anything other than a portable ps2. it would work fine for the snes right? thanks.
