i dont know, some of the connections are different in the psx than the psone, but if you know the inside of a psx well you shouldnt have a problem,

what do yu mean by 'connections'... in terms of electronics, thats a very broad topic...

coldheat soldering irons work fine but don't hold the heat after you turn them off. AAs are good if you want it ti be small and lite. it might fry it it might not. try it on someone elses n64
