i haven't gotten my hands on a 64 controller yet so i don't know if they even have the same amount of pins or anything but could you strip the wires on the end of a 64 controller and solder them to the end of a gamecube controller? so you could have the smaller gamecube plug on the end of a 64 ...

this is looking very nice what kind of glue did you use to put your case together?

This is going great and now i am trying my hand at making one but on the first day i immediately screwed up. I miss drilled a hole in my case and i was wondering if you guys know how to fix it?
