Oh well never mind ill just deal with the horror of having to run my games off disks

so if i got an adaptor from usb to SATA the i would plug that into the port where the origonal HDD goes?

Is it possible to use an external hard drive on a 360 in the same was as the official one? So i can rip my games to it and stuff i realy cant afford to buy a bigger hard drive and would love to be able to do this.
