How wide is it?

I have an idea for a psonep-no soldering requered. First take a psone and a ps1 lcd screen and put a battery pack on it. Now get a controller and plug it into the system. put the controller on top of everything. Now find/build a case that it all will fit into and cut holes in all the neccesary ...

no the problem is that i dont HAVE a soldering /desoldering iron. can i just use a regular iron that irons clothes?

Could i make a n64p without a soldering/desoldering iron(or whatever its called)

I know that i'm probably just being lazy to search but I cant find a good detailed gide to an n64p(besides the gide that has that HUGE N64p) also doomportables isn't working on my computer so that is out of the question thanks!
