Well I'm actually using the zenith screen which has a stepdown converter with it... and its all almost hooked up, so at this point I would rather use a 12V battery rather than try and rewire the whole thing. Besides, as of right now I don't know how to make a step up converter.

Voltage Leeway- Gamecube

So in looking at batteries for my GCp one thing I've found is I can get 2500mAh NiHh batteries that are 1.2V and 2600mAh Li-Ion batteries that are 3.7V. Both of these are about the same size. The problem is even though the Li-Ion batteries are more efficient for size, they don't add up to the 12V I ...

Hey, I believe earlier you said you were soldering your memory card to your board. Do you have pinouts for doing that? especially ones that go farther back then just to the memory card selector... if that makes sense.

Thanks I tried that and I could get 12V going in, but nothing seems to get past that point. I figured I should put the + on the pinout from the regulator board, and the - on ground of the the board or even on the boarder of the mobo. I tried a lot of things, but nothing seems to work. Looks like I ...

I've tried what you had techknott and I'm pretty sure I have everything exactly as you do, but it still doesn't work! I'm really frustrated at this point. I might try wiring them all together, but that will take up more room than I can afford to waste. I soldered the pinouts together on the ...

Whats my problem?: Gamecube Regulator Board (pics included)

I'm having trouble reattaching my the gamecube power regulator to the rest of the system. I've soldered it already, but I've done something wrong and I don't know what.

I based my pinouts on this:

Thanks, you were really helpful, but now I'm having problems again. I think the biggest problem lies in that diagram being slightly different than my gamecube. Mine has 12 pins, and then 2 extra on each side... but only 12 go to the gamecube. I decided the 2 extras must count, and did my soldering ...

Thanks, that makes sense. That explains why its asked me to reset the time and such when I turn on the console after modding it sometimes. I sometimes disconnect the controller port so its not dangling off. Now, the real question is... where can I connect it to the mother board?

I have a question that I need answered as I'm in the process of my one GCp... on the controller board there is a battery, but I would like to chop off the top of the controller board. I think you moved it already, but can you tell me where it goes connected directly to the motherboard? Or is it not ...

I actually registered here just to ask you questions about this project, because I'm working on one myself actually. You're doing an awesome job so far though!
Now, questions...
(some may be a bit dumb)
1) Does it work right now? Some connections look like they're missing so I'd suppose not.
2)It ...
