hiya hitch , i would recommend going to Arcade Otaku Forums for more advice on this matter. The problem sounds very much like something is wrong with you Monitors Chassis , i had a problem with my Chassis and sent it to Jomac Amusements in Australia and now im back up and running.

howdy scene , can a PAL DOL-101 work with a SCART RGB Cable ?

i can confirm DOL-001 works with it but unsure if a DOL-101 can

NTSC-US DOL-101 Gamecube want to turn it into a DOL-001

hi team , i got a NTSC-US DOL-101 Gamecube and want to turn it into a DOL-001 for the Digital AV Port.

Can this be done ? is it as simple as changing the Motherboard over to a DOL-001 and swithching over the Power Board PCB from a DOL-001 ?

hiya from Oz neologix ,

i got the classic psx controller to start simple, and once i get this working properly will later do it w/a ps2 dual-shock controller.

in my experience and knowledge its best to use SCPH-1080 PSX Controllers as the Analogues sometimes cause problems

hi again youve been great blaze , thanks for the extra info and confirm on RGB SCART Cables on NTSC systems.

yea ive seen the Gamecube Component Cable hack to convert it into a RGB SCART Cable for use on NTSC Cubes , quite clever

hiya blaze , thanks for info supplied

with question 2 it was poorly described by me , what i meant is do RGB SCART Cables work on NTSC PS1's ? ie with NTSC Gamecube's RGB SCART Cables wont work with them only S-Video Cables do. RGB SCART is a PAL EURO Standard and isnt usually supported with NTSC ...
