Re: Replacing the Nomad screen
Recently changed the screen in my Nomad for a new one and it's great! To bad it's so hard to take good photos of the screen with my phone.
Some classic Sonic is a must to test with.

Re: WTB: RGB Moddable N64
I could more into the details of the build, what I'm looking for is a N64 motherboard of the right revision that have the VDC-NUS so it can output RGB with a simple mod.
So I'm only looking for a N64 with revision NUS-CPU-01 to NUS-CPU-04.
Then I plan to add one of these inside of the N64.

WTB: RGB Moddable N64
Looking for a N64 that can be modified to output RGB, anyone have one? Even if it's just the motherboard I buy it from you.
Gonna see if I can mod a Pikachu N64 and add a internal RGB to HDMI converter so one can easily connect it to modern TV's.

That's on the PSP Slim, the DS don't have that.nevermind1534 wrote:I think there might be an output on the power/accessory connector, but you probably wouldn't want to put the time into making a cable for it.

Re: Xbox laptop.
The holes are the ones that held the plastic frame that was around the old heatsinks. Used springs from a few pencils that I put between the bolt and the coolers to keep them better leved.

Re: Xbox laptop.
I used coolers similar to the Vantec Iceberg 4 cooler, but as I live in Europe and didn't want to import them I looked around for something similar.
It's a Revoltec VGA Cooler Type Two, but if you can't find any of the heatsinks just look around for ones that fit the nVidia GeForce4Ti 4200-4800 SE ...

Xbox laptop.
I have finally started my Xbox laptop project.
Haven't built that much on it, replaced the coolers and built a VGA test cable and flashed my BIOS with a VGA one.

Had to add a power connector for my second cooler.

Why don't you just replace the drive? Easier that way, found spare ones not to expensive online.

Re: I'm making a GC laptop with fully planerised inteernals ect
D:use a salvaged low energy laptop screen and thus get full VGA quality.
To bad you can't use a laptop screen because they need a special converter to work with other video sources, but if you can find a converter you can use one, but they are expensive and hard to get.
