Re: Need help - genesis controller to 25pin serial port MOD

Your motherboard's parallel port might be in a different mode or incompatible with the pinout you're using. I'm not sure which mode works best with the parallel port controllers, but just look around on the net, and you should find something.

I don't think that will work. I think the 32x combines the 32x output with the Genesis RGB out, so just hooking up composite won't work.

Game Gear LED Mod?

I have a Game Gear. I've taken it apart many times, and am quite confident that with some help from people more experienced with electronics, I could install a LED backlight and lower its battery consumption by a lot. I will add pictures of the Game Gear and how I think the backlight would work.

If I was going to test the contacts on the Nomad, how would I go about doing that? I have no idea how to use a multimeter. Thanks for the help.

Sadly, I don´t have a multimeter to test the contacts with. So if anyone else has any clue on the polarity, please reply with info.

The contacts circled are direct battery contacts used for the standard Nomad battery. I just need to know which one is positive and which is negative.

What is the circuit to use a LM318 for an N64?

I am currently making an N64 portable-ish thing, and am wondering how to wire up a battery. I know you need a battery around 7-9 volts, and a voltage regulator (LM318) for the 3.3v line, but how do you wire it?

New NOAC - Adventure Racing Set

I just found something that appears to be a NOAC - it's a driving wheel with built-in-games. I looked inside and I'm pretty sure it is. It has a little cartridge soldered on it with 60 pins. I'll get pictures ASAP.

where is +5 volts? Do you mean the pin on the nes board or something else?
EDIT: Can I also have a diagram for a power thingy? Sorry, I don't know how to describe it better.
