I'm pretty sure it's not the cartridges. I (only) have about 13, and they all stopped working at the same time. it's been a while since i looked inside my nes, but i think i remember its metal prongs being cobber colored. Problem is, they look worn and underneath there's a silvery color. This might suggest it being worn. If the silvery colored metal is some regular metal, that's probably why it won't work ...
