Eh, I'm sure it's been in the pipeline for ages now. Ben's not the only person who's made comments on a "Playstation Portable". Besides, there's only so many ways to even create a product. I don't think Ben's PSP mockup looks all that like the real PSP; it has a screen, it has the controls in the ...

Another Atari 2600 on a FPGA Project

In case nobody's seen this over at the AA forums:

http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=64309

He's been working with the schematics very carefully to make sure he gets all the 2600 quirks correct, comparing it against z26 and Stella emulators, and even going as far to implement the ...

The virtual boy is actually a really interesting machine. It uses persistence of vision display by quickly moving to mirrors back and forth. So there is no acutal screen just a row of red leds (really small red leds i might add) that are magnified and they displayed via the quickly moving mirrors ...

Modifying the style colors is pretty easy with the control panel. Making your own (decent-looking) style is pretty complicated... taking a new style that fits in with the site from phpbb.com is easy. Finally, making a new skin for each individual forum wouldn't be possible without a PHP hack, since ...

Well, I suppose this means I'll be getting a PSP... next year, of course. This year, if I can help it, I'm getting a DS. Sony's marketing is really working...

Of course, one has to remember how parents come into play here. Buying a console one year and another one the next isn't going to fly well ...

Well, the crab would win, but then would be shunned by the entire mushroom kingd-- er, castle , for killing a poor magical candle. Is it truly a victory?

Though, it also depends on the enviroment. If in the water, the candle would go out anyway, thus giving the crab the advantage. But if on land ...

The NES specifically runs off 5 volts, which is what the 7805 outputs. However, if you use the 7805 itself, you can input anything from 7 up to 35 volts (not reccomended). If you want to input anything below 7, you can also get a Low Drop-Out (LDO) chip from stores like Mouser. Personally, I'd ...

Unfortunately, you can't backlight a Gameboy of any kind. (There were a small number of backlit gameboys made in Japan, but you will have a REALLY hard time finding one.) Gameboys have to be front-lit. I am not sure, but I suspect that you could use an afterburner in a gameboy.
*sigh* A GameBoy ...
