and yes, it's an atmega8. which is actually not very good for a watch like this due to the relatively high power consumption (a few ma).

You can get the schematics here (I bought the atmega preprogrammed there).
Just put LEDs in place of the binary->BCD converters shown in the schematic.

Also, mine died a while ago (maybe from static?).

I replaced the batteries with 3 nicd AAAs (cuz I'm too cheap to buy nimhs), and added some pin headers to attach a (currently nonexistant) charging cable to.

It really wasn't very hard to keep everything organized since it's so small. I didn't even go in any particular order. Though I did occasionally have to desolder and move some wires out of the way temporarily because they covering up something I was trying to get at. And I forgot to attach the top ...

I expected to get a slideshow at 800x600 on low quality, but I actually got really good framerates at 1024x768. And 1280x1024 was somewhat playable. I do have a rather high tolerance for low framerates ...

It finally runs on batteries!

I bought a mini-snes from the flea market last week and ordered a psone screen from ebay to get started. As soon as the screen came in, I wired it up to the SNES with RGB and turned everything on. But ...

On the compatability list for the generation nex , there are 21 games that don't work. The yobo supposedly has slightly better compatability, so there are probably around 15 games that don't work on it.
