this someone here known of a way that i can make my wii to boot directly gamecube main menu?. you know, bypass that channel selection screen!

if you have a modchip or a TSOP you can remove the dvd drive and test it...

if you have a soft mod you can reduce space by only remove all parts from the dvd-room and just place the dvd-room motherboard, just short the connectors that detect the drive as close.

In some games the rumble can advice you something...
like a near enemy, a secret or many other thinks...
if you don't want to add rumble you can consider in add a blinking led
near the screen that advice you of those thinks that could occurs in game...

I looked up the ram upgrade and you add a new ram chip to the xbox.
Only some xbox have space for it do.

yes... you can do that mod on xbox version 1.0 to 1.5...
you can not do it on 1.6 boxes cause ms remove the ram slots. just a note... ms start to make 1.6 by 03/04... revise the date on the ...

well... you have the best hackable-for-homebrew console availabe in this time... i recomend you to not sell it... i dont think that you can find for that low cost:

(*)- a console that can run all those emulator in such perfect condition.

the connectors for the dvd drive have ben relocated... in that position we dont need to make changes to proper working...

i read that the hardware features a drop in weight from 900 to 600 grams ...

you will not be able to download one image of a boot disk and use it to run backup cause you will be trying to run a backup of the boot disk at the first time and it dont run backups... but is probable ...

What would you guys think about a VHS camcorder battery? 12v, 2300mAh, seems like it might not last too long though. The biggest problem I am having is I want to be able to charge the battery in the unit/play the unit plugged in, I would likely have this portable plugged in 90% of the time.

yes... the family converter disable the internal roms... but... the room will be always disable if the FConverter is pluged (whit or whitout nes cartrige)

i just want to know which part of the converter disable/enable the roms

??? thats one that i didn't know!!! did you know the pins that i have to connect??? to update the pics!!! i make it like this cause i see a bens one that put a wire to disable the internal rooms

I have tracked the lines from a Family converter and make this diagrams for those that dont know how to... please note that this has not be tested by me but someone that has make this hack can confirm if the diagram is correct. I just have tracked the lines, make the diagrams and decided to post ...

you can use a micro switch like the one that came on the dvd rooms so the switch is pressed only when you insert the cartridge. that way the internal rooms are disabled only when it have a game inserted.
