I am in the process of spooling up a new web server and am transferring all old data including these forums.

The database has been converted and we're now running the newest version of phpBB (3.3.14) and PHP (8.3 something)

The backup was made at 11AM ...

Using a bare processor would be infinitely more difficult (not to mention SLOWER) than using any modern microcontroller.
